What is crêpe paper and when do you use it?
Crêpe paper is a versatile material that you use for decorative purposes, craft projects and party decorations. The paper is ideal for making flowers, streamers, gift wrapping or as a base for various hobby projects.

Why choose this size?
With dimensions of 500 mm wide and 2.5 metres long, you get enough material for medium to large projects. The width of half a metre gives you the flexibility to make both wide decorative elements and to cut the paper into narrower strips for detailed work.

Key feature: colour-bleeding when damp
This crêpe paper has the property of running when it becomes damp. This makes it excellent for batik effects and certain craft techniques. When combined with other materials or in damp conditions, you should bear this in mind.

Practical tip for use
As the paper is supplied on a roll, you can measure exactly how much you need without waste. Store the roll in a dry, cool place. When cutting and folding crêpe paper, it's best to work with dry hands to avoid unwanted colour transfer.
