What does this cartridge do and when do you need it?
The HP 304 is a 3-colour printer cartridge that contains cyan, magenta and yellow ink in one cartridge. You need this cartridge when you want to print colour documents such as photos, presentations or coloured text. This cartridge works together with a separate black cartridge to make full-colour prints.

Why choose this 3-colour variant?
This cartridge combines three colours in one housing, which is practical for home use and small offices where you occasionally need colour. With 100 pages per colour, you get a total of 300 colour pages from this cartridge. This format is cost-effective for users who print colour regularly but not intensively.

Realistic expectations for page yield
The stated capacity of 100 pages per colour applies to standard ISO test pages with an average colour distribution. In practice, your yield may vary depending on what you print. Photos with lots of colour saturation use more ink than text documents with a few coloured elements, so you will get fewer pages out of the cartridge.

Checking compatibility is essential
This HP 304 cartridge only works with specific HP DeskJet and ENVY models: DeskJet 2620, 2622, 2630, 2632, 2633, 3720, 3730, 3750, 3760, 3762, 3764 and ENVY 5020, 5030, 5032. Check the exact model number of your printer before ordering. You can usually find this number on a label on the front or back of your printer.
