When do you need canvas panels?
Canvas panels are ideal when you want to paint without the cost and hassle of a traditional canvas on a stretcher frame. These Kangaro panels offer a stable surface for creative projects, studies or when you are experimenting with different techniques. The format is handy for smaller works, portraits or as practice material.

Why choose this format?
This compact format gives you plenty of flexibility in your composition. You can create both portrait and landscape works, or make use of the symmetrical properties of a square canvas. With 5 pieces in the pack, you have enough panels for a series of works or to try out different techniques without having to buy a large canvas straight away.

What makes these panels suitable for different painting techniques?
These panels are made of 100% cotton with a thickness of 3 mm and are treated with a universal primer. This means you can use them for oil, acrylic, gouache, tempera and alkyd paint. The cotton is glued to acid-free board and folded over the edge, which ensures a professional finish and durability for your artwork.

Practical tip for optimal use
Store unused panels in a dry place to prevent warping. Thanks to the universal primer, you can start painting straight away without any extra preparation. Do note that different paint types have different drying times – acrylic paint dries faster than oil paint, which is useful if you want to use several panels quickly.
