When do you need an extension rack?
You use an extension rack to expand an existing shelving system without having to buy a completely new rack. This Kerkmann extension rack is ideal when you are running short of archive space and want to enlarge your current Progress 500 shelving system. You save costs because you make use of the construction of the main rack.

Why choose these dimensions?
With dimensions of 750×600×2600 mm, this rack offers optimal archive capacity on a compact footprint. The height of 2600 mm gives you 7 binder levels, so you make maximum use of the available space up to the ceiling. The depth of 600 mm is perfectly suited to standard A4 binders and suspension files.

Load capacity you can rely on
This rack can carry 80 kg per compartment, which amounts to roughly 20-25 filled binders per shelf. The total load capacity of 500 kg per shelving bay means you can use the rack to its full potential without worrying about stability. This capacity is more than sufficient for standard office archiving.

Practical assembly and adjustment
The screwless slot system makes assembly easy and quick, without any tools. You can adjust the shelves in height, so you can adapt the rack to different sizes of boxes or binders. Make sure you combine this extension rack with a main rack from Kerkmann's Progress 500 series for a stable construction.
