When do you need a replacement ink ribbon?
This Kores ink ribbon is intended for cash registers and calculators that use nylon ribbons instead of cartridges. You need a new ribbon when the printouts on your receipts or calculations become faint or are no longer visible at all. The purple ribbon ensures that your device produces sharp, easy-to-read printouts again.

Which devices is this specific ribbon suitable for?
This ink ribbon works specifically with the Casio CE4050 cash register, various Citizen models (DP730, IR61, IR61B and IR71) and the Sharp ER-A series (440, 460 and 470). The ribbon has been developed to fit perfectly in the ribbon mechanisms of these types of equipment and has the correct width and length for optimal performance.

Why nylon as ribbon material?
The nylon material of this ink ribbon offers a longer lifespan than ordinary fabric ribbons. Nylon is more wear-resistant and holds the ink better, so you can make more printouts before replacement is needed. The purple colour produces bright, high-contrast printouts that remain easy to read.

Check the correct reference code
Always check before purchasing that the reference code R016NYV matches the ribbon your device uses. You can usually find this code in the manual of your cash register or calculator, or on the old ribbon itself. An incorrect reference means the ribbon will not fit or will not function properly in your device.
