When do you need a replacement ribbon?
You need this ink ribbon when your Epson ERC28 or M2000 dot matrix printer no longer prints sharply or doesn't print at all. These printers use an impact printing principle, whereby pins strike the paper through the ribbon, so the ink runs out over time or the ribbon wears down.

Why exactly choose this Kores ribbon?
This nylon ink ribbon has been specifically developed as a replacement for the original Epson ERC28 cartridge and also works with the M2000 series. The nylon material ensures that the ribbon lasts longer than comparable fabric ribbons and delivers consistently black prints.

What does Gruppe 654 mean?
The Gruppe 654 classification is Kores' internal coding indicating that this ribbon fits a specific group of dot matrix printers. This coding helps you find the right replacement ribbon and guarantees that the dimensions and ink density match what your printer needs.

Practical installation tip
Before ordering, check that your printer really is an Epson ERC28 or M2000 model - this is usually shown on a label on the back or bottom of your printer. You can use the reference number G654NYS to verify that you have found the right product. Keep the old cartridge if you are unsure about the correct placement of the new ribbon.
