When do you need a carbon ink ribbon?
This Kores ink ribbon has been specially developed for electric typewriters and older word processors that use carbon-based ink ribbons. You need this product when you want to type documents on devices that do not support modern inkjet cartridges or toner cartridges, but operate with the traditional ribbon system.

Perfect for Olympia Compact machines
This ink ribbon is specifically designed for the Olympia Compact series, including the Compact II, RO and electric variants. It belongs to Gruppe 187, which means it has exactly the right dimensions and characteristics for this machine group. Thanks to this perfect fit, you get optimal printing results without the ribbon jamming or sitting crooked.

Carbon technology for clear prints
The carbon composition produces deep, black prints that remain easy to read, even after a long time. Carbon ink ribbons have the advantage of performing consistently throughout their entire lifespan and not fading like some other ribbon types. This makes them particularly suitable for important documents and correspondence.

Wide compatibility with many brands
Besides Olympia machines, this ribbon also works with dozens of other typewriter and word processor models from brands such as Smith Corona, Robotron, Nakajima and Triumph/Adler. Always check the model number of your machine in the extensive compatibility list to make sure that this specific Gruppe 187 ribbon is suitable for your device.
