When do you need a flat paintbrush?
You use a flat paintbrush for applying paint or other materials over larger surfaces. This type of brush is ideal for hobby and creative projects where you want to fill in areas, paint backgrounds or make broad strokes. The flat shape gives you an even distribution of the material.

Why choose size 14?
With a brush width of 14 mm, you are in the mid-range in terms of size. This size gives you the flexibility to work on both details and somewhat larger areas. You are not limited to very fine lines, but the brush is also not so large that you lose control during more precise work.

Advantages of nylon bristles
The nylon bristles of this brush are sturdy and retain their shape well during use. Nylon is less sensitive to different types of paint than natural bristles and lasts longer. After washing, the bristles usually spring back into their original shape, which is important for an even release of paint.

Practical details for optimal use
The brush has a green lacquered wooden handle with a seamless silver-coloured ferrule (the metal part). This construction prevents paint or water from getting between the parts, which benefits the brush's lifespan. Clean the brush immediately after use with lukewarm water and leave it to dry flat to retain the shape of the bristles.
