When do you need a keilrahmen set?
Keilrahmen are stretched canvases that you can use straight away for painting. You need them when you want to start painting with oil or acrylic paint, or when you want to try serviette technique. This set gives you three painting canvases to experiment with or to create a series of works.

Why choose the 200 × 200 mm size?
The square format of 200 × 200 mm is ideal for smaller artworks, studies or practice projects. This size is large enough to work out details, yet compact enough to see results quickly. With three canvases in one set, you can try out different techniques or create a small series.

What does the 4-layer ground mean?
The canvas is 4-fold primed, which means four coats of primer have been applied. This preparation ensures that your paint does not soak into the cotton but stays beautifully on the surface. The 100% cotton canvas of 380 g/m² offers a sturdy base suitable for various painting techniques.

Practical details for use
The 17 mm stretcher bar depth gives the canvas enough thickness to stay firmly stretched while you paint. The staples are only on the back, so you have a smooth working surface without disruptive elements. You can use these canvases for oil paint, acrylic paint and serviette technique without any further preparation.
