When do you use canvases?
Canvases are the foundation for your artworks when you're working with paint. You need them for oil and acrylic paintings, but also for serviette technique. These canvases are already stretched and primed, so you can start painting straight away without any preparation time.

What does the 4-fold primer mean?
These canvases have a 4-fold primer, which means they have been primed four times for optimal paint adhesion. The 100% cotton canvas with a weight of 380 g/m² gives you a stable surface that is suitable for various techniques. The primer ensures that your paint does not soak into the canvas but sits nicely on top of it.

Practical details for use
The stretcher bars of 17 mm give the canvas sufficient depth for a solid construction. A key advantage is that the canvases are only fixed with staples at the back, so the sides remain smooth and you can also paint over the edges if you wish. This gives you more creative options when shaping your artwork.
