When do you need a flat bristle brush?
A flat brush with bristles is used for applying paint to larger surfaces and for creating straight lines. This type of brush is ideal for acrylic paint, watercolour and gouache, where you want to create even layers of paint without streaking.

Why number 20 is the right choice
With a width of 20 mm, this brush offers a good balance between coverage and control. You can use it to fill in areas as well as work out details. Size number 20 is versatile enough for various painting techniques without becoming too large or too small for most projects.

Nylon bristles for durability
This brush has nylon bristles that retain their shape well and withstand intensive use. Nylon is stronger than natural hair and suitable for various types of paint. The bristles have sufficient firmness for good paint release, while remaining supple enough for smooth strokes.

Practical construction features
The brush has a green lacquered wooden handle that sits comfortably in the hand. The seamless silver-coloured ferrule ensures the bristles are held firmly and prevents paint from getting under the metal ring. Clean the brush with water immediately after use to extend the life of the nylon bristles.
