Protect your screen content with this black LEITZ privacy filter for 14-inch laptops. The blue light filter reduces eye strain, while the anti-reflective coating and 30-degree privacy screening keep prying eyes at a distance.
When do you choose this product?
What does this product do, and when do you need it?
A privacy filter sits in front of your laptop screen and ensures that onlookers at the side cannot see anything. This is particularly useful if you regularly work in public places such as trains, cafés or shared workspaces, but also in the office where colleagues can see your screen. The filter thus protects confidential documents, e-mails and other sensitive information from unwanted glances.
Why this size and this variant?
This model is specifically designed for laptop screens with a diagonal of 35,56 cm (14 inch) and an aspect ratio of 16:10. It is therefore important that your laptop meets exactly these specifications, as an incorrect size will not fit properly on your screen. The 16:10 aspect ratio differs slightly from the more common 16:9, so check this in advance in your laptop's specifications.
Honest about the main feature: side-on privacy
The filter darkens the image for anyone viewing your screen at an angle of 30 degrees or more. This means that people sitting right next to you will no longer be able to make anything out, which in practice offers effective protection. Please note that you must sit directly in front of your screen for a clear image; viewing at an angle also applies to you.
Practical tips for attachment and use
The filter is supplied with both adhesive strips and mounting tabs, so you choose how to fit it: temporarily or more permanently. In addition, the filter is compatible with touchscreens, making it suitable for laptops where you also touch the screen. The anti-reflective coating reduces glare from light, making it more comfortable to work under bright lighting.
