Protect your screen and your privacy with this black LEITZ privacy filter for 16-inch laptops. The blue light filter and anti-reflective coating ensure comfortable working, while prying eyes are blocked from 30 degrees.
When do you choose this product?
What is a privacy filter and when do you need one?
A privacy filter sits in front of your screen so that people beside or behind you cannot see what is displayed. If you regularly work in a public space, in an open-plan office, or on the train with sensitive information, this is a practical solution to prevent unwanted snooping.
Why choose this size?
This LEITZ privacy filter is specifically designed for a screen diagonal of 40.64 cm with a 16:10 aspect ratio. This size is common with business laptops and certain notebooks where the screen is slightly taller than the more usual 16:9 format. Thanks to the exact fit, the filter lines up precisely with your screen, without overlapping edges or blind corners.
How does the privacy protection work in practice?
The filter darkens the image for anyone viewing your screen at an angle of 30 degrees or more. You, sitting straight in front of the screen, see the image clearly as normal. The filter also has an anti-reflective coating that reduces distracting reflections, and a blue light filter that somewhat limits exposure to blue light, which is handy during long working sessions.
Attachment and compatibility
The filter is supplied with both adhesive strips and attachment tabs, so you choose how you mount it. Adhesive strips provide a fixed connection, while the tabs offer an option that is easy to remove. Important to know: the filter is touchscreen-compatible, so if your 16-inch laptop with a 16:10 screen ratio has a touchscreen, it remains fully usable with the filter fitted.
