This premium patch cable ensures stable network connections without interference. The short length of 0.5 metres is ideal for connections in server cabinets or between devices on your desk.
When do you choose this product?
What does this patch cable do, and when do you need it?
A Cat. 8.1 patch cable connects network equipment such as computers, switches and routers to one another. You need this cable when you want reliable network connections in professional environments where high data speeds and stability are crucial. This short 0.5 metre cable is ideal for short-distance connections in server racks or between devices that are close together.
Why Cat. 8.1 is the right choice for your situation
Category 8.1 is the latest generation of network cables, delivering far higher performance than older standards. This cable supports the most modern network standards and is future-proof for professional applications. The short length of 0.5 metres ensures minimal signal loss and optimal performance for direct device connections.
Full shielding for maximum reliability
This cable has an S/FTP shielded construction with PIMF technology, meaning each wire pair is individually shielded plus an additional screen around the entire cable. This prevents interference from external sources and crosstalk between the wire pairs. The gold-plated contacts provide corrosion resistance and consistently good conductivity.
Practical details for professional use
The cable has an LSZH sheath, which produces less smoke and no toxic gases when heated, an important safety feature in offices and data centres. The RJ45 connectors are fully shielded and have extended boots for extra protection against damage. The black strain relief boots protect the cable from breaking at the connector.
