When do you need a Cat 6 network cable?
A Cat 6 network cable is used for reliable internet connections between devices in your office or home working environment. You need this cable when you want to connect computers, printers, switches or routers to the network for stable data transfer. This 2 metre length is ideal for short distances, such as from your workstation to a nearby router or switch.

Why choose a shielded S/FTP variant?
This shielded version offers extra protection against electromagnetic interference (PIMF technology). In office environments with many electrical devices, this helps you prevent connection problems and signal loss. The shielding ensures your network connection remains stable, even when the cable runs alongside other cables or devices that may cause interference.

Durable construction with gold-plated contacts
The RJ45 connectors have gold-plated contacts that prevent corrosion and guarantee a long-lasting, reliable connection. The LSZH sheath means that the cable releases fewer harmful fumes when heated, which is important for safety in the office. The moulded boot protects the sensitive connection points from damage caused by frequent plugging and unplugging.

Practical identification and compatibility
The category and cable type are printed on the cable, so you can easily see which type of cable you are using later on. This Cat 6 cable works with all standard network equipment that has RJ45 ports. The grey colour and strain relief make the cable suitable for professional use where the cable remains visible.
