When do you need a Cat. 6 S/FTP network cable?
A Cat. 6 S/FTP network cable is used to reliably connect devices to your network when WiFi is not sufficient. You need this cable for stable internet connections with computers, printers, switches or other network equipment that requires a wired network connection.

Why choose a 7.5 metre length?
At 7.5 metres, you have enough cable length to place equipment flexibly without the cable being too short. This length is ideal for connections within an office space, from router to computer or between different network components that are positioned a little further apart.

What does the S/FTP shielding mean?
The S/FTP shielding (screened PIMF) protects the signal against electromagnetic interference from other devices. This ensures more stable data transmission, especially in environments with a lot of electronic equipment such as offices. The gold-plated contacts prevent corrosion and maintain a good signal connection.

Practical details for use
The cable has copper conductors with an AWG 27/7 specification and a 1:1 wiring, meaning both ends are connected identically. The LSZH sheath produces less smoke when heated. The yellow colour and cable printing with category information make identification easy. The RJ45 connectors have moulded hoods with yellow plug covers that protect the connections against damage when the cable is bent.
