When do you need a Cat. 6 S/FTP network cable?
You use this LogiLink Professional network cable for stable internet connections between devices in your network. You need this cable when you want to connect computers, printers, switches or routers with each other via a wired network. Cat. 6 cables are suitable for modern network environments where reliability is more important than wireless connections.

Why choose a length of 7.5 metres?
At 7.5 metres, you have enough length to connect devices that are not standing directly next to each other. This length is practical for office environments where, for example, you need to connect a printer on the other side of the room, or when you have a switch in a server cabinet. You are not limited to short distances, yet the cable remains neat and manageable.

Shielded protection against interference
This cable features S/FTP shielding with PIMF technology, which means that each wire is individually shielded. This prevents electromagnetic interference from other devices such as fluorescent lighting or wireless equipment. The gold-plated contacts ensure a stable connection without corrosion, which is especially important in professional environments where the connection must always work.

Practical tips for use
Please note that both ends have RJ45 connectors with shielded plugs - these fit all standard network sockets. The LSZH sheath means that the cable releases fewer toxic fumes when heated, which is safer in office environments. The black colour and strain relief make the cable suitable for visible installations without looking obtrusive.
