When do you use a Cat. 6A network cable?
A Cat. 6A network cable is used for fast and stable network connections in professional environments. This cable is suitable for data transfer up to 10 Gigabit and prevents signal loss at high speeds. You need this type of cable when you want to connect devices directly to each other or to a network via Ethernet.

Why choose a length of 0.5 metres?
The short length of 0.5 metres makes this cable ideal for connections over short distances. For example, you can use it to connect a computer to a nearby switch, or to link network components together in a server rack. The compact length prevents unnecessary cable clutter and keeps your workspace tidy.

The benefit of S/FTP shielding
This network cable has S/FTP shielding (shielded PIMF), which means it is protected against electromagnetic interference. The shielding ensures that the signal is not disrupted by other electronic devices nearby. This is especially important in busy office environments where a lot of equipment is active at the same time.

Reliable connection thanks to gold-plated contacts
The RJ45 connectors have gold-plated contacts that are corrosion-resistant and guarantee a reliable connection. The LSZH sheath provides extra safety because it releases fewer harmful fumes when heated. The purple colour of the cable boot helps you identify this specific type of connection in your network configuration.
