When do you need a Cat. 6A network cable?
You use a Cat. 6A network cable to connect network equipment such as computers, switches, routers or printers to your network. This cable ensures a stable internet connection and data transfer within your office network. You need this variant when you want reliable network connections without interference.

Why choose the 5-metre length?
At 5 metres, you have enough length to position equipment flexibly without the cable becoming too long and untidy. This length is ideal for connections within an office space, for example from your workstation to a switch in a nearby cabinet or from a printer to the network. This way you avoid unnecessary excess cable.

S/FTP shielding against interference
This cable has S/FTP shielding (screened PIMF), which means that each wire pair is individually shielded and the entire cable has an additional shielding layer. This protects your network connection against electromagnetic interference from other devices nearby. The gold-plated contacts ensure good conductivity and prevent corrosion.

Note the orange colour coding
The orange colour and strain relief boots make this cable easy to identify in your network cabinet. The cable has an LSZH sheath, which releases fewer toxic fumes when heated. Thanks to the 1:1 wiring layout, the cable is suitable for all standard network applications. Check whether your network equipment has RJ45 ports – this is the standard for Cat. 6A connections.
