When do you need a Cat 6A network cable?
A Cat 6A network cable is used when you want to connect devices to each other via a wired network. This can be for connecting your computer to a router, switch or modem, or for linking network equipment to one another. The cable provides a stable internet connection without the delays you sometimes experience with WiFi.

Why choose this 2 metre variant?
The 2 metre length is ideal for short connections within a single room. You can use it to connect devices that are close together, such as a desktop computer to a router on the same desk, or a printer to your network. The cable is long enough to give you flexibility in your setup, but not so long that you end up with excess metres lying around.

Professional shielding for stable connections
This cable features S/FTP shielding, meaning it is excellently protected against electromagnetic interference. The Cat. 7 material combined with the shielded RJ45 connectors and gold-plated contacts ensures your signal remains clear and stable. The frequency range extends to 800 MHz in accordance with the ISO/IEC 11801 standard.

Practical details for use
The grey colour does not stand out among other equipment, and the LSZH sheath means the cable does not release toxic gases when heated. The connectors have strain relief boots that prevent the cable from being damaged when bent. The category and cable type are printed on the cable, which is handy for identification in a network cabinet.
