When do you need a Cat6 network cable?
A Cat6 network cable is used to connect devices such as computers, printers or switches to your network. This type of cable is suitable for modern internet connections and ensures stable data transfer in office environments where reliability is essential.

Why choose the shielded S/FTP version?
This cable has an S/FTP (shielded) construction with PIMF shielding, which means each wire pair is individually shielded against electromagnetic interference. This is particularly important in environments with a lot of electronic equipment or where the cable runs alongside other cables that could cause interference.

Benefits of the gold-plated contacts and LSZH sheath
The RJ45 connectors are fitted with gold-plated contacts, which prevent corrosion and ensure a durable connection. The LSZH sheath (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) produces less smoke and no toxic gases when heated, which benefits safety in office environments.

Practical usage tip
With a length of 1 metre, this cable is ideal for short connections, for example between your computer and a switch under your desk. The green plug boot makes the cable easy to recognise in your cable management. Thanks to the 1:1 wiring, the cable is compatible with all network equipment as standard.
