When do you need a Cat6 network cable?
A Cat6 network cable is used to connect devices such as computers, printers, switches and routers to each other via a wired network. You need this cable when you want a stable and fast internet connection between your devices, or when you are setting up a local network in your office.

Why choose a 5-metre length?
The 5-metre length gives you enough freedom to connect devices that are not standing right next to each other. This length is practical for office environments where you, for example, connect a computer to a switch, or connect a printer that is a few metres away. Cables that are too long can cause signal loss, while cables that are too short limit your set-up.

The benefits of S/FTP shielding
This cable features S/FTP (shielded) technology with PIMF shielding, which means each wire pair is individually shielded against electromagnetic interference. This ensures reliable data transmission, especially in environments with lots of electronic devices. The gold-plated contacts prevent corrosion and ensure a durable connection.

Practical details for everyday use
The LSZH sheath ensures that less harmful gases are released when heated, which is safer in office environments. The black strain relief boots protect the connection points from damage when the cable is bent. The RJ45 connectors are standard and fit all common network equipment. The cable has a 1:1 wiring, which means that all eight wires are connected straight through.
