What does this network cable do and when do you need it?
This Cat. 6A S/FTP network cable connects devices on your business network and ensures stable internet connections. You need this type of cable when you want to connect computers, printers, switches or other network equipment to your network. The 15 metre length gives you enough room to connect equipment that is positioned a little further apart.

Why choose the Cat. 6A shielded version?
This cable has a shielded (S/FTP) construction with PIMF technology, meaning each wire pair is individually shielded against interference. This is especially important in office environments where a lot of electronic equipment is present that can cause interference. The Cat. 6A standard supports higher speeds and frequencies than standard Cat. 6 cables.

Durable construction with copper conductors
The cable is built with copper conductors (AWG 26/7) and has gold-plated contacts in the RJ45 connectors. The LSZH sheath ensures that less toxic fumes are released when heated than with standard PVC cables. The moulded connectors with grey strain relief boots protect the connections from damage during frequent use.

Practical tip for installation
When laying the cable, pay attention to the 1:1 wiring – this means that both ends are wired identically. The cable is supplied in a polybag and has clear printing showing the category and cable type, handy for identification in your network cabinet. Make sure your network equipment also supports Cat. 6A to get the most out of its features.
