When do you need a Cat. 6A network cable?
Cat. 6A network cables are used for fast and stable internet connections in business environments. You need this cable when you want to connect devices such as computers, switches, routers or printers to each other via a wired network. This cable is especially suitable for situations where you need high speeds and reliable data transmission.

Why choose the 5 metre length?
The 5 metre length gives you flexibility when connecting devices that are positioned a little further apart. This length is ideal for office setups where, for example, you need to connect a computer to a switch in another cabinet, or to bridge distances between workstations. The cable is long enough for practical applications but short enough to minimise signal loss.

The benefits of the shielded S/FTP version
This cable has a shielded (PIMF) construction with copper conductors, which provides excellent protection against electromagnetic interference. The shielded RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts guarantee a stable connection and prevent corrosion. The strain relief is moulded for extra durability, and the cable has an LSZH sheath that produces less smoke and toxic gases when heated.

Identification and connection
The red colour of the strain relief makes this cable easy to recognise in your network layout. The cable has a 1:1 wiring, which means both ends are wired identically – this is the standard for normal network applications. The category and cable type are printed on the cable, so you can always see which type of cable you are using.
