When do you need a Cat. 6 S/FTP network patch cable?
Use this patch cable to connect network equipment such as computers, switches, routers and servers in professional network environments. Cat. 6 cables are suitable for higher data speeds and more bandwidth than older categories, making them ideal for modern office networks where reliable data transfer is essential.

Why choose the screened S/FTP version?
The S/FTP (Screened/Foiled Twisted Pair) version offers double protection against electromagnetic interference, through both an overall screen layer and individual foil shielding per wire pair. This makes the cable particularly suitable for environments with a lot of electronic equipment or where cables run close together, as interference between signals is minimised.

Durable construction with gold-plated contacts
The RJ45 connectors have gold-plated contacts that prevent corrosion and ensure stable connections over a longer period. The LSZH sheath ensures that when heated, little smoke and no toxic gases are released, which is important for safety in office environments. The moulded boots protect the connection against mechanical stress.

Practical choice for short distances
At a length of 1.5 metres, this cable is perfect for connections within a workstation or between equipment in a rack. The red colour makes identification in cable systems easier, especially handy when you want to distinguish different types of connections. The 1:1 wiring means the cable is ready to use straight away without any special configuration.
