When do you need a Cat. 6 network cable?
You use this network cable to connect devices such as computers, printers, switches or routers to each other via Ethernet. Cat. 6 cables are suitable for fast internet connections and reliable data transmission in office environments where stability is important.

Why choose exactly 2 metres in length?
A 2 metre cable gives you sufficient flexibility for connections between nearby devices without unnecessary excess cable. This length is ideal for connecting a computer to a switch under the desk, or for connections within a workstation where devices are relatively close together.

What do U/UTP and the 1:1 configuration mean?
This cable has a U/UTP (unshielded) construction with 4 x 2 AWG 24/7 wires and a 1:1 pin configuration. This means both ends are wired identically, so you can use the cable in either direction. The CCA wire composition and PVC jacket ensure reliable performance in standard office use.

Practical details for optimal use
The RJ45 connectors have gold-plated contacts that prevent corrosion and ensure a stable connection. The grey colour and print on the cable help you identify the cable type. Thanks to the moulded housing and strain relief boots, the connections are protected against damage when plugging and unplugging regularly.
