When do you need a Cat 6A network cable?
You use a Cat 6A network cable to set up a reliable network connection between devices such as computers, switches, routers or NAS systems. This type of cable is suitable for professional applications where you need a stable and fast data connection over longer distances.

Why choose a 40 metre length?
This 40 metre cable gives you the flexibility to connect devices located in different rooms or on different floors. For example, you can create a network connection between the meter cupboard and an office on the other side of the building, without having to join several shorter cables together.

Shielded connection for a stable signal
The S/FTP shielding (shielded PIMF) protects the data signal against electromagnetic interference from other devices in the vicinity. This is especially important in office environments where there is a lot of electrical equipment. The gold-plated contacts ensure good conductivity and prevent corrosion over time.

Practical details for installation
The cable has an LSZH sheath, which means that when heated it produces less smoke and no toxic gases - ideal for use in office buildings. The RJ45 plugs are already fitted and have grey strain relief boots that protect the cable against breakage at the connections. The 1:1 wiring means that both ends are wired identically, which is standard for network cables.
