When do you need an outdoor patch cable?
This Cat. 6A S/FTP patch cable is specially designed for outdoor applications where ordinary network cables fail. You need this cable when you have to make network connections between buildings, in industrial environments or other locations where the cable is exposed to the weather. The cable offers reliable data transmission up to 500 MHz, which is suitable for modern network applications.

Why this length of 10 metres?
At a length of 10 metres, this cable offers sufficient reach for most outdoor applications without unnecessary cable slack. This length is ideal for connections between nearby buildings, from a switch to an outdoor access point, or for bridging shorter distances in industrial environments where flexibility is important.

Robust protection against environmental factors
The cable is UV- and oil-resistant, making it resistant to sunlight and industrial fluids. The PE and PVC blend jacket offers additional protection against splashing water in accordance with the IEC60811-1-3 standard. The operating temperature of -40 to +65 degrees Celsius ensures that the cable functions in extreme weather conditions. The gold-plated contacts prevent corrosion and guarantee stable connections.

Important installation tip
Please note: this cable is not suitable for underground installation in the ground. For above-ground outdoor installations between buildings or along facades, however, this cable is perfectly suitable. The S/FTP shielding protects against electromagnetic interference, which is essential in environments with a lot of electrical equipment.
