When do you need a Cat. 6A patch cable?
A Cat. 6A patch cable is used to connect network equipment together in professional IT environments. You need this cable when you have to connect servers, switches, routers or other network equipment that requires higher speeds and bandwidth than standard Cat. 5e cables can deliver.

Why choose a 30 metre length?
This 30 metre variant is ideal for longer connections within buildings, for example between different floors or rooms. With this length you can connect equipment that is further apart without having to couple multiple cables, which benefits signal integrity.

Advantages of S/FTP shielding
This LogiLink cable has an S/FTP (shielded) construction with PIMF technology, meaning each wire pair is individually shielded. This prevents interference from external electromagnetic sources and ensures stable data transmission. The gold-plated contacts on the RJ45 connectors offer extra protection against corrosion and guarantee a reliable connection.

Practical installation features
The cable has an LSZH sheath which releases little smoke and no toxic gases when heated, which is important for safety in office buildings. The moulded boots around the RJ45 connectors protect against damage during installation. The black strain-relief boots prevent the cable from breaking at sharp bends. The category and cable type are printed on the cable, which is handy for identification during maintenance.
