What does this product do and when do you need it?

Wiper blades keep your windscreen clear of rain, dirt and other precipitation while you drive. You need new wiper blades when your current ones leave streaks, squeak or no longer make proper contact with the glass. The MICHELIN Multi Fit Set MF6046 contains two wiper blades measuring 460 mm and 600 mm respectively, including adapter.

Why choose this flat blade design?

This is a so-called flat blade wiper, also known as a flat bar wiper. This means the wiper blade has no separate joints, so the wiper presses evenly against the glass along its full length. The result is a more consistent wiping pattern than with traditional wiper blades with a metal frame. Because there are no loose moving parts, the construction is also less susceptible to freezing in winter.

Honest about the aerodynamic design

The aerodynamic shape of these wipers is aimed at reducing air resistance at higher speeds. This contributes to quieter use, which you notice on the motorway, where conventional wipers sometimes vibrate or hum. It is a functional advantage, but how great the difference is compared with other flat blade wipers also depends on your specific vehicle and driving conditions.

Practical tip: check compatibility and adapter

This set is supplied with an adapter, which makes it suitable for several attachment systems. Before fitting, check which type of connection your car has — this is usually stated in your vehicle's handbook or on the packaging of your current wipers. Also make sure the lengths of 460 mm and 600 mm match the prescribed sizes for the driver's and passenger's side of your car.
