When do you need refill paint?
This Pelikan refill watercolour set has been specially developed to top up empty paint pans in your watercolour box. You need this refill when the lemon yellow paint in your paint set runs out, but the rest of your colours still have enough left. This saves you from having to buy a complete new paint set.

Why lemon yellow as a single colour?
Lemon yellow is one of the most commonly used base colours for painting and mixing other shades. This colour is often the first to run out because you use it to make greens, oranges and lighter tones. By refilling only this colour, you can manage your painting materials economically.

Suitable for standard school paint sets
This refill paint is specifically made for Pelikan standard school watercolour sets with grey paint pans. The paint fits exactly into the standard sizes used in school paint sets, so your existing paint box remains optimally used.

Practical tip for use
Make sure your paint set does have grey paint pans, as this refill is designed for them. You can put the paint directly into the empty pan, or use a new pan if the old one is damaged. Keep the refill paint dry and close the packaging properly to prevent it from drying out.
