What are replacement watercolour pans and when do you need them?
Replacement watercolour pans are loose paint cakes that you can use to replace or refill empty compartments in your paintbox. You need them when the paint in your existing box runs out, or when you use a specific colour more often than the others.

Why choose this blue-green variant?
This blue-green shade is a popular colour for landscapes, nature drawings and mixed artworks. Blue-green often runs out faster because it is used for water, sky and plant elements alike. By purchasing this particular colour as a spare, you don't have to buy a completely new paintbox straight away.

Suitable for standard school paintboxes
These Pelikan replacement watercolour pans are specially designed for standard school paintboxes with grey paint trays. They fit exactly into the compartments of these standard-size boxes, so you can easily replace individual colours without the lid no longer closing or the paint pans becoming loose.

Practical compatibility tip
Check that your paintbox has grey paint trays before ordering these replacements. Pelikan uses different systems for its paintboxes, and these pans are specifically made for the standard type with grey trays. Also check the reference number on your existing box to make sure these replacements are compatible.
