What does an ink pad do, and when do you need one?
An ink pad supplies the ink your stamp needs to make a clear impression. You need this product when you regularly have to stamp documents, for example for signatures, date stamps or company stamps. The ink pad acts as the ink supplier and needs to be replaced or refilled from time to time.

Why size 3 in this dimension?
This Pelikan ink pad is size 3 with dimensions of 70 × 50 mm. This size suits medium-sized stamps and offers enough surface area for an even distribution of ink. Size 3 is often used in office environments where you need to stamp regularly, but do not need the very largest stamping surfaces.

Durable metal casing
This ink pad comes in a metal casing, which contributes to the product's lifespan. The metal construction protects the pad against drying out and ensures that the ink stays moist for longer. This is more practical than plastic alternatives, especially with intensive use in an office environment.

Note the correct reference
When ordering, it is important to know that Pelikan has renumbered this product. The new reference number is 300004134, while the old number was 331181. When replacing, check which number your stamp or records use, so that you can be sure you are ordering the right size and type. The red colour is standard for many applications.
