What does this product do?
This Pentel brush pen ink is specially developed for fine drawing work and artistic projects. The synthetic fibre tip mimics the properties of a traditional brush, allowing you to create variable line thickness by changing the pressure and angle of the pen. This makes it ideal for calligraphy, illustrations, manga drawings and other creative expressions where you need both fine details and broader strokes.

Why choose bright blue?
The bright blue colour offers an alternative to standard black ink and adds a vibrant dimension to your artwork. This colour works excellently for accents, shadows or as a main colour in colourful compositions. The colour identification on the cap ensures you can quickly identify the right colour, especially useful when working with several colours at once.

Water-based ink
The ink is formulated on a water basis, which ensures a smooth release and consistent colour intensity. This composition makes the ink suitable for various paper types and provides a natural flow of paint that works well with traditional brush techniques. Water-based ink dries relatively quickly and prevents bleed-through on most paper types.

Practical tip for use
Store the pen horizontally or with the tip facing down to maintain optimal ink flow. Always test first on a scrap piece of paper to determine the desired line thickness and colour intensity before starting on your final work. The synthetic fibre tip requires a lighter touch than traditional felt-tip pens to avoid damage.
