What is a brush pen and when do you use one?
A brush pen such as this Pentel Kunstvilt combines the precision of a felt-tip pen with the flexibility of a brush. The synthetic fibre tip responds to the pressure you apply, so you can create both fine lines and broader strokes. This makes it ideal for calligraphy, illustrations, manga drawings and artistic projects where you need variation in line thickness.

Why choose the grey colour?
Grey is a versatile colour that works perfectly as a base for shading, outlines and monochrome drawings. The grey tone gives your work a professional, subtle look without the dominance of black. You can also easily combine grey lines with other colours without distracting from your main design.

Water-based ink for optimal performance
This Pentel brush pen contains water-based ink, which ensures smooth ink flow and comfortable drawing. Water-based ink dries faster than other types of ink and causes less bleed-through on paper. In addition, the ink has a less strong smell than solvent-based ink, making long working sessions more pleasant.

Easy identification and organisation
The colour identification on the cap is a practical detail that saves time while working. You can see at a glance which colour you have in hand, which is especially handy when working with several brush pens at once. Store the pen horizontally to keep the ink flowing optimally, and always replace the cap properly to prevent the ink from drying out.
