What does a brush pen do?
A brush pen combines the flexibility of a traditional brush with the convenience of a pen. You use this tool for calligraphy, hand lettering, drawing and creative projects where you need variation in line thickness. By varying the pressure and angle of the pen, you create thin and thick strokes in a single movement.

Why choose a fine plastic tip?
The fine plastic tip of this Pentel pen offers more control than a traditional brush, while still retaining the flexibility for expressive lines. This makes the pen ideal for detailed work and precision applications. The plastic tip is more durable than natural brush bristles and keeps its shape better after prolonged use.

Benefits of water-based ink
This pen uses water-based ink, which means you can blend and blur colours for as long as the ink is still damp. This opens up possibilities for watercolour effects and colour transitions in your work. Water-based ink dries quickly and causes less bleed-through on paper compared with other ink types.

Practical colour identification during use
The colour coding on the cap means you can see at a glance which colour you're holding. This is especially useful when working with multiple colours on a project. You don't need to test first which colour comes out of the pen, which saves time and improves your workflow during creative sessions.
