What does a pigment marker do?
A pigment marker such as the POSCA PC-3M is perfect for creating opaque, covering lines and drawings on a variety of materials. Unlike ordinary felt-tip pens, you use pigment markers when you want your drawing to remain clearly visible, even on dark or coloured surfaces. These markers are ideal for creative projects, making labels or marking objects where clarity is important.

Why choose this round tip?
The round tip of 0.9–1.3 mm gives you the flexibility to create both fine details and filled areas. This tip size sits precisely between a fine detail marker and a broad filling marker, allowing you to draw versatilely. You can draw thin lines by pressing lightly and create broader strokes by applying more pressure.

Opaque dark blue colour
The dark blue pigment gives an intense, opaque colour that also stands out well on light surfaces. Pigment ink has the advantage that it does not fade like ordinary ink and gives a matt finish. The colour remains stable, even with prolonged exposure to light, which is important for permanent markings or artworks.

Suitable for various materials
POSCA markers work on paper, cardboard, wood, metal, plastic and glass. For the best results, make sure the surface is clean and dry before you begin. Shake the marker well before use, and if you are unsure about adhesion on a specific material, test first in an inconspicuous spot.
