What does a pigment marker do, and when do you need one?
Pigment markers are ideal for creative projects, decorations and making eye-catching drawings or lettering. Unlike ordinary felt-tip pens, they contain pigment ink that is opaque and lightfast. You use this marker when you want your work to stay beautiful for a long time and remain clearly visible on different surfaces.

Why choose the round tip of 0.9–1.3 mm?
With the round tip you can create smooth lines, and you can make both fine details and broader strokes by varying the pressure. The line width of 0.9 to 1.3 mm offers plenty of versatility: perfect for hand lettering, illustrations and decorative accents. This tip is not so thick that you lose precision, but not so thin that the work becomes too small in scale.

Pigment ink for durable results
The big difference from ordinary markers lies in the pigment ink. This opaque ink adheres well to various materials such as paper, cardboard, wood, stone and even glass. The sky blue colour stays bright and does not fade quickly under the influence of light. This makes your creations suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Practical tip for optimal use
Store the POSCA PC3M BCI marker horizontally to keep the ink evenly distributed. Before first use, shake the marker well and press the tip down on paper a few times until the ink flows. Always test first on a small piece of your work material to check that the ink adheres properly.
