This versatile brush with golden polyester fibres works excellently for both oil and acrylic paint. The flat shape and size 6 make it ideal for filling in areas and detailed work.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need this versatile brush?
This Royal Talens Van Gogh brush has been specially developed for both oil and acrylic paint, so you can use it for both techniques. You choose this brush when you want to lay down flat strokes, fill in large surfaces or need sharp edges in your painting.
Why choose the flat shape and size 6?
The flat shape (Gussow) gives you control over broad, even paint strokes and is ideal for painting landscapes, backgrounds and geometric shapes. Size 6 offers a good balance between coverage and precision, so you can work effectively on both details and medium-sized areas.
Gold-coloured polyester fibres: what does this mean?
The fine gold-coloured polyester fibres are synthetic and therefore very durable. These fibres hold their shape well and are resistant to both the solvents in oil paint and the rapid drying time of acrylic paint. They deliver paint evenly without shedding hairs.
Practical details for optimal use
The seamless nickel-plated brass ferrule ensures the fibres stay firmly in place and prevents paint from building up at the ferrule. The long, glossy lacquered handle gives you good control and keeps the brush comfortable in your hand during longer painting sessions. Clean the brush immediately after use with the appropriate solvent for the type of paint you have used.
