This flat Van Gogh brush, with its fine golden polyester fibres, gives you a beautiful, even line with oil and acrylic paint. Thanks to the seamless brass ferrule, the shape stays perfectly intact, even after intensive use.
When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
A flat brush is used for applying paint over larger areas and for creating broad, even strokes. These Van Gogh brushes have been specially developed for both oil and acrylic paint, giving you flexibility in your choice of paint type. The flat shape also makes it suitable for detailed work where you want to create sharp edges.
Why choose size 24?
Size 24 is a medium-sized brush that offers a good balance between coverage and control. You can use it to paint smaller details as well as fill reasonably large areas, without the brush becoming too heavy or unwieldy. This size is ideal when you are working on medium-sized paintings and want to combine different techniques.
Advantages of golden polyester bristles
The golden polyester fibres are fine in structure and offer good paint pick-up. Polyester bristles hold their shape well and are more durable than natural hair, especially when used with acrylic paint. They are also easier to clean and less susceptible to damage from the solvents often used with oil paint.
Practical features
The brush has a long handle with glossy lacquer, which allows comfortable working and provides sufficient distance from your work. The seamless nickel-plated brass ferrule ensures the bristles are held firmly in place and do not come loose during use. Thanks to the flattened ferrule, the brush has its characteristic flat shape, which is essential for correct paint application.
