When do you need a Cat. 7 network cable?
A Cat. 7 network cable is used for fast and stable internet connections between devices on your network. This cable is ideal when you want to connect computers, printers, switches or routers together for optimal network performance. At a length of 2 metres, you have sufficient reach for connections within one room or between neighbouring workstations.

Why Cat. 7 raw cable?
This Shiverpeaks cable offers future-proof performance with Cat. 7 raw cable. The AWG 26/7 cable construction ensures reliable signal transmission, while the copper mix in the wires offers a good balance between performance and price. The EIA/TIA 568B pinout guarantees compatibility with standard network equipment.

Durability through thoughtful design
The moulded plugs with gold-plated pins ensure a stable connection that is resistant to corrosion. Particularly useful is the kink and latch protection, which prevents the cable from being damaged when connecting it or if you accidentally bump into it. The PVC cable sheath with a 5.4 mm diameter offers good protection without being too rigid.

Practical tip for optimal use
When connecting, listen for the click of the latch - you will hear a clear click when the plug is securely in place. The green colour helps you organise your network connections, for example for marking specific connections in your setup. Make sure you do not bend the cable too sharply around corners in order to preserve its lifespan.
