What does an optical audio cable do?
A Toslink optical audio cable transmits digital audio signals via light pulses between devices such as soundbars, receivers, televisions and gaming consoles. You need this cable when you want to transfer high-quality surround sound without loss of quality or electromagnetic interference.

Why choose a 5-metre length?
At 5 metres, this cable offers enough flexibility to connect devices at a considerable distance from each other. This length is ideal for home cinema setups where your receiver or soundbar is not directly next to your television, or when you want to route cables neatly along walls or under floors.

Metal connectors with gold-plated contacts
The metal plugs with gold-plated contact surfaces ensure a stable connection that is resistant to corrosion. The reinforced protective cover around the connector prevents breakage when plugging and unplugging. The silver plug colour gives a professional look that suits high-quality audio equipment well.

Identification and compatibility
The blue cable colour and outer diameter of 6.0 mm make this cable easy to identify in your installation. Toslink is a universal standard, so this cable works with all devices that have an optical audio output or input. When purchasing, make sure both devices actually have a Toslink connection, recognisable by the square opening with chamfered corners.
