When do you need a Cat. 6 patch cable?
A patch cable is used to create network connections between devices such as computers, switches, routers or network printers. Cat. 6 cables are suitable for fast data connections up to 250 MHz and offer the reliability you need for professional network installations.

Why choose this 0.50 metre length?
At a length of 0.50 metre, this cable is ideal for short connections in server cabinets, between switches, or from a switch to a nearby device. This prevents unnecessary cable slack and keeps your workspace neat and organised without running short of reach.

What does S/FTP shielding mean?
The S/FTP shielding combines aluminium foil 0.025 mm thick with braided copper wire (80 x 0.12 mm) around each pair of wires. This double protection ensures that electromagnetic interference from outside cannot disrupt your network connection, which is especially important in environments with a lot of electrical equipment.

Practical details for installation
The RJ45 connectors have gold-plated contact surfaces that prevent corrosion and ensure a stable connection. The reinforced boots protect the connection points from damage during installation. The copper conductor material ensures optimal conductivity, and the halogen-free composition makes the cable suitable for use in office environments where fire safety is important.
