What does a Cat. 6 S/FTP patch cable do?
A Cat. 6 S/FTP patch cable connects network equipment such as computers, switches and routers to each other for a stable internet connection. You need this cable when you want reliable network connections in offices, server rooms or home workspaces where wireless connections are inadequate.

Why choose a 15-metre length?
At 15 metres, you have enough length to connect equipment on different floors or to run through office spaces without having to couple multiple cables. This length offers flexibility when setting up network installations without unnecessary excess metres that create clutter.

Advantages of S/FTP shielding
The S/FTP (Screened Foiled Twisted Pair) version, with aluminium foil 0.025 mm thick, protects against electromagnetic interference. This ensures stable data transmission up to 250 MHz, even in environments with a lot of electrical equipment. The gold-plated contact surfaces prevent corrosion and guarantee durable connections.

Practical tip for installation
Please note that both ends are fitted with RJ45 connectors with a moulded boot, which offers extra protection against damage. The cable is halogen-free, which is important for use in buildings due to fire safety requirements. Always check before connecting that your network equipment is suitable for the Cat. 6 standard to achieve optimal performance.
