When do you need a Cat. 6 patch cable?
A patch cable is used to connect various network devices to each other, such as computers, switches, routers or printers. You need this cable when you want a reliable internet connection between devices that are further apart. Cat. 6 cables are suitable for modern networks where you expect stable data transfer.

Why choose a 20 metre length?
With 20 metres you have sufficient cable length to connect devices that are located in different rooms or on different floors. This length gives you the flexibility to position your network equipment optimally without being limited by cables that are too short. For longer distances within office buildings, this is a practical choice.

Advantages of S/FTP shielding
This cable has S/FTP shielding with aluminium foil of 0.025 mm thickness, which provides protection against electromagnetic interference. The copper conductors ensure good signal transmission, while the gold-plated contact surfaces are corrosion-resistant. With a bandwidth of 250 MHz, this cable supports current network standards.

Practical connections
The cable has RJ45 connectors with moulded boots at both ends, which protect the connections from damage. You can connect this cable directly to standard network ports on computers, switches and other network equipment. The blue colour makes it easy to distinguish this cable from other cables in your network installation.
