What do you use this fineliner for?
The STABILO fineliner point 88 is ideal for precise writing, drawing and detailed work where you need a constant line width. Thanks to the 0.4 mm tip, you get crisp, even lines that are perfect for technical drawings, hand lettering or accurate writing in diaries and planners.

Why this 0.4 mm variant?
With a line width of 0.4 mm, this fineliner sits right between an ordinary pen and a fine technical pen. You get enough coverage for legible writing, but the tip is fine enough for detailed work. This thickness works excellently if you regularly switch between writing and drawing.

Advantages of the metal tip
The metal-clad nib ensures that the tip retains its shape, even with intensive use against rulers and stencils. This means you can draw precise lines over a long period without the tip deforming or becoming damaged, which can happen with plastic tips.

Practical features for everyday use
This fineliner is ruler- and stencil-safe, meaning you can use it safely with measuring instruments without damaging the tip. The ventilated cap prevents the pen from drying out and also offers extra safety. The hexagonal shape with striped design keeps the pen from rolling off your desk and provides a comfortable grip while writing.
