What does this fineliner do?
The STABILO point 88 is a fineliner for precise drawing, writing and detailed work. With a line width of 0.4 mm, it sits between thin fineliners and thick felt-tip pens, so you can create both fine details and clearly legible text.

Why this 0.4 mm variant?
The 0.4 mm tip gives you the perfect balance between precision and visibility. You can draw thin lines for technical drawings or diagrams, yet the stroke is still thick enough to stand out well on paper. This width works excellently when using rulers and stencils.

Reliable metal tip
The tip has a metal casing that ensures durability and retains its shape. This keeps your line consistent, even after prolonged use. The hexagonal shape of the pen prevents it from rolling away and gives you a stable grip while you work.

Practical tip for a longer lifespan
This fineliner has a ventilated cap that greatly slows down drying out, even if you forget to put the cap back on. For the best results when working with rulers or stencils, always hold the tip perpendicular to the paper. Store the pen horizontally or with the tip facing down to keep the ink evenly distributed.
