When do you need a 4B pencil?
The STABILO Othello 4B pencil is ideal for drawing, sketching and artistic work where you want soft, dark lines. The 4B grade produces deep black strokes that blend and smudge easily, perfect for shading and artistic effects.

Why choose the hexagonal shape?
The hexagonal shape of this pencil sits steadily in your hand and prevents the pencil from rolling off your work surface. This ergonomic design offers more grip during extended use and reduces finger fatigue during intensive drawing or writing sessions.

Advantage of the break-resistant lead
The 3.0 mm lead is specially designed to be break-resistant, meaning you are less likely to suffer from breaking points during your work. This feature is especially useful when making the dark, bold strokes typical of 4B pencils, where you apply more pressure.

Practical tip for use
Because of the soft 4B composition, the point wears down faster than with harder pencils. Make sure to have a good pencil sharpener, and consider keeping one blunt for broad strokes and a sharp point for details. The green lacquered finish makes the pencil easy to spot among your other drawing materials.
