What are propelling pencil refills and when do you use them?
Propelling pencil refills are replacement leads for mechanical pencils that you use when your original lead has run out or broken. These Mars micro carbon leads from STAEDTLER ensure that your propelling pencil works optimally again for drawing, writing or technical work.

Why choose 0.9 mm leads?
With a diameter of 0.9 mm, you get a sturdy line that is less likely to break than thinner variants. This thickness is ideal for general writing, sketching and situations where you need a clearly visible line. The 0.9 mm size offers a good balance between precision and robustness.

HB hardness grade for versatile use
The HB hardness grade stands for a medium-hard lead that is suitable for most writing and drawing tasks. This hardness gives you a nice, even line without being too hard or too soft. HB leads are perfect for everyday office use, taking notes and light technical drawing.

Practical supply in a handy package
You receive 12 leads in one lead box, which ensures a sufficient supply. Do note that these leads only fit propelling pencils that are suitable for 0.9 mm leads. Check the specifications of your propelling pencil before ordering, as not every mechanical pencil accepts this diameter.
