What are pencil lead refills and when do you need them?
Pencil lead refills are replaceable graphite leads for mechanical pencils. You need them when your mechanical pencil runs out or when the leads have broken due to intensive use. These Mars micro carbon refills ensure that your mechanical pencil functions optimally again for drawing, sketching or writing.

Why choose 0.3mm leads?
With a thickness of 0.3mm, these refills are ideal for precision work and fine details. This thin line width gives you plenty of control for technical drawing, architectural sketches or when you make very precise notes. The narrow line is perfect when working with small lettering or intricate diagrams.

What does hardness grade HB mean?
HB stands for a medium hardness between hard (H) and soft (B). These refills offer a good balance between a clear, dark line and wear resistance. HB leads are versatile for both writing and drawing, without being so hard that you need to apply a lot of pressure, or so soft that they wear down quickly.

Practical benefits of this packaging
You receive 12 leads in one handy tube, which ensures a sufficient supply and protection against breakage. These STAEDTLER Mars micro carbon refills are compatible with all 0.3mm mechanical pencils from various brands, not just STAEDTLER. Keep the tube tightly closed to keep the leads dry and unbroken.
